Taft ISD board approves consent agenda including minutes, investment report and child nutrition

The Taft Independent School District Board of Trustees unanimously approved the consent agenda at its Oct. 20, 2025, meeting, accepting five routine items including the Sept. 23, 2025 minutes and the investment report ending Aug. 30, 2025.
Trustee Greg Benedict moved to approve the consent agenda and Trustee Johnny Carvajal seconded the motion. The roll call showed six votes in favor, none opposed and one trustee absent (Paul Luis Treviño). The consent package also included total expenditures by function ending Sept. 2025, a summary of taxes paid to Taft ISD ending Sept. 2025, and the Taft ISD Child Nutrition report for September.
