Board goes into closed session on personnel; accepts coach resignation and approves unpaid leave

The Board adjourned to Closed Session under Wis. Statutes 19.85(1)(c) at 6:11 p.m. to discuss personnel matters including resignations, an unpaid leave request, the Elementary Principal position, and the District Administrator’s evaluation. The motion to enter closed session was made by Stacy Fetzer and seconded by Sharon Formoe; roll call recorded Carlsrud-Yes, Fetzer-Yes, Formoe-Yes, Mrdutt-Yes, and Olson-Yes.
The meeting reconvened in open session at 9:53 p.m. and the Board took several personnel actions. The board accepted the resignation of Josh Cormican as Middle School Wrestling Coach (motion by Ben Mrdutt, seconded by Sharon Formoe) and approved a staff member’s unpaid leave request (motion by Ben Mrdutt, seconded by Jessie Olson). Both motions carried by unanimous vote. The meeting adjourned at 9:54 p.m.
