The Boyceville Community School District Board approved teacher retirement-notification extension requests and approved a teacher unpaid leave during its Feb. 4 meeting. Sharon Formoe moved to approve the retirement-notification extensions and to approve a teacher's unpaid leave; both motions were seconded and recorded as carried with unanimous votes.
Separately, a support-staff unpaid leave request was tabled on a motion by Ben Mrdutt (seconded by Jessie Olson) so the board could gather more information ahead of making a decision; the minutes state the item is "tabled until next meeting." The minutes do not identify the employees by name or specify durations, salary impacts, or replacement staffing plans.
