The Boyceville Community School District Board on Dec. 3 accepted a Phase 2 bid package presented by CESA 10 that covers a suite of facility upgrades, including Tech Ed general trades, electrical work and a high-school generator, HVAC improvements for Tech Ed and middle-school wrestling areas, replacement of the TCE gym floor, bus garage work, site driveway improvements, painting and new flooring in selected areas.
Alex Larson of CESA 10 told the board, "Exterior doors and windows are scheduled to be completed by December 31," and reported that work on the middle-school gym is scheduled for the summer of 2027. The board also selected VCT (vinyl composition tile) and terrazzo as the Phase 2 flooring options. The motion to accept the Phase 2 Bid Package was made by Ben Mrdutt, seconded by Sharon Formoe, and the board carried the motion in open session.
