Provo School District names school-level Teachers of the Year
Summary
The district recognized dozens of school-level Teachers of the Year at its April 28 Employee Recognition Night; winners came from alternative programs, elementary, middle and high schools across the district.
During the Teacher of the Year portion of Employee Recognition Night, the Provo City School District announced school-level winners representing multiple schools and programs.
PEA Vice President Glenn Lockwood introduced a list of awardees that included Lauren Hawker (Alternative Programs), John Lundell (Canyon Crest), Nicole Murray (Centennial), Tory Norman (Provo High), and other school-level honorees across elementary, middle and high schools. The list recognizes classroom teachers across grade levels and programs.
The Teacher of the Year presentations preceded the announcement of the district-level Teacher of the Year and were part of a broader recognition program that included counselors, principals and support staff.
