Provo School District cites large test-score gains and jump in college-level enrollment

Dau said Provo High School and Timpview High School recorded the highest increases in the state for college-level enrollment and credits earned this year, including multiple students earning associate degrees and completing general education courses while in high school. Board members praised staff in an employee recognition event described as an "Evening of Celebration," and noted the upcoming Sorensen Legacy Music Award to be presented at the board meeting on May 12.
Board members called the results encouraging as administrators continue to track outcomes across grades and programs. The board did not take formal action but put the results on the record as the district continues program reviews and community outreach.
