She said the session was exempt from the public-meeting provisions of Florida Statute 286.011 and that the meeting would not be open to the public.
May read a list of invited attendees for the closed session, which included all five county commissioners (John F. Martin, A.M. Huttmann, Jeff Gray, Allison McCullough and Clint A. Farmer), county management and legal staff, outside counsel, and fire department leadership. She asked the clerk to stop recording before the board recessed into the closed session.
