Carol Giles (1284 Edinburgh Court) used the public-comment period to report icy and uneven sidewalk conditions along Roosevelt Road and asked the council to take remedial action.
City Manager Michael Dzugan responded that the council has reviewed the issue "a number of times over the past 10—715 years," that the council previously decided not to adopt a property-owner shoveling ordinance, and confirmed that the City requires snow removal in the Downtown Central Business District; staff suggested sending reminder letters to businesses along Roosevelt Road to encourage sidewalk clearing.
