The Nassau County Planning and Zoning Board recommended Aug. 5 that CPA 25‑012, a request to change approximately 2.4 acres from medium‑density residential to commercial, be approved.
Planning Department staff said the parcel is south of State Road 200 and east of US‑17 and that water and sewer are available at the site; staff also reported a small wetland area on the property that would be evaluated and mitigated as part of site development review. Based on their review, staff concluded the requested amendment is consistent with the comprehensive plan and recommended approval.
There were no public comment cards and a board member moved to recommend approval; the motion was seconded and carried by voice vote.
