Quorum court outlines road projects: Dean Road widening, overlays and hard-surface connections

The court received a summary of planned road and public works projects for the year from presiding leadership. Projects mentioned included pothole repairs, preparing for annual asphalt work, widening Dean Road, connecting Freedom Valley Road to Ball Road with hard surface, two miles of hard surfacing on Times Tower Road near North Chester, and approximately 0.5 mile of work on Lanes Road.

"We're going to overlay that road, make it a wider road. We're going to finish connecting Freedom Valley Road to Ball Road through there with hard surface," the presiding officer said. The court also discussed contractor coordination and upcoming contractor meetings to resolve remaining issues and schedules for overlays and dig-out repairs. No final contractor awards or funding changes were made during the meeting; updates will be provided as the projects proceed.
