Horner also reviewed HB 17-related items and STAAR testing updates and said the district is pursuing new testing strategies and student-support programs such as the Youth Success Program. The minutes show no board questions on the written reports.
Other administrative reports were submitted electronically: Athletic Director Ryan Pannell and Elementary Principal Carrie McWhorter provided written reports with no board questions. Technology Director Ed Lindner updated the board verbally on Clever platform updates and the hiring of a new technology technician. Business Manager Nancy Cooper reported on an upcoming auditor visit and noted the auditors will attend the October board meeting.
