At its Oct. 20 meeting, the Winona ISD Board of Trustees approved a shared-services agreement to secure a data specialist jointly with six neighboring districts: Alba‑Golden, Mineola, Quitman, Van, Hawkins and Union Grove ISDs. The motion to approve the agreement was moved by Mark Wintters and seconded by Aaron Wilson, and the board approved it unanimously.
The minutes state the agreement will be shared among the listed districts but do not specify cost shares, start date or job-term details in the public record. The agreement is presented as a cooperative measure intended to provide data support across small districts in the region.
