Wink-Loving ISD approves teacher contracts and renews key administrative contracts for 2026–27

Trustees approved Elementary and JH/HS teacher contracts and renewed contracts for the Director of Safety/Security, Business Manager and Tax Assessor/Collector; all motions passed unanimously.
At its April 13 meeting, the Wink-Loving ISD Board approved teacher contracts for the 2026–2027 school year based on campus principal recommendations. Trustee Melissa Halterman moved to approve both the Elementary and JH/HS teacher contracts; Trustee Jerome Dewberry seconded and the vote was unanimous.
The board also approved contracts for three administrative positions — Director of Safety/Security, Business Manager and Tax Assessor/Collector — noting administrators Kyle Sanford, Geanna Coker and Sarah Wilkinson "do an excellent job for WLISD" in the administrative consideration recorded in the minutes. Trustee Jerome Dewberry moved to approve those contracts, Trustee Chad Evans seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
