Technology Director Lahne Burns reported that a portion of a REAP grant funded new full‑time teacher touchscreen laptops and docking stations, ASUS Chromebooks intended for 7th grade, Chromebook cases, and Chromebook accessories. Burns said Chromebook cases arrived and that the district received the café point-of-sale machine and hoped to have it installed before the next board meeting.
Burns also said the technology team is working to upgrade machines to Windows 11 by the end of October because Windows 10 reaches end of life at the end of that month.
