Valley View ISD approves Region I ESC agreement tied to LASO grant and HB 2 compliance

Board President Claudia Coronado asked whether the district had been awarded the LASO grant; Interim Superintendent Dr. Monica Luna confirmed that it had. The board voted to approve the agreement on a motion by Jaime Gaona with Claudia Coronado seconding; the motion passed 7–0.
The agreement was presented as part of the district's strategy to meet grant conditions and state educator-preparation obligations.
