Valley View ISD board approves student trips and staff development on consent agenda

Approved student travel included the VVHS Band trip to the TMEA All-State Clinic and Concert in San Antonio (Feb. 11–14, 2026), the VVECC FCCLA Region V meeting in Corpus Christi (Jan. 29–31, 2026), and DECA's 2026 State Career Development Conference in Dallas (Feb. 19–21, 2026). Staff traveling for professional development include district leaders attending the Texas Pathways & Data Proof Points Workshop in Houston on March 25–27, 2026. Jaime Gaona moved to approve the consent agenda, Claudia Coronado seconded, and the board voted 7–0 in favor.
Trustees raised no questions during the consent agenda and proceeded to action items.
