Council authorizes Beacon Avenue bid advertisement; West Buck Street project tabled pending cost details

At the March 11 meeting Council received and filed a memo from Borough Engineer Erik Biermann and adopted R.25.82 to authorize advertising for bids on the 2023 Beacon Avenue road improvement project once NJDOT approvals are secured. The resolution instructs the engineer to proceed with bid advertising when state approvals are in hand.
Council also considered R.25.83 for the 2024 West Buck Street improvement project but voted to table that resolution until the council receives an explanation of the total funds required to complete the project.
