The Union Grove Independent School District Board of Trustees voted unanimously Nov. 10 to cast the district's 202 appraisal-board votes for Roe Ann Logan for the 2026–2027 Upshur County Appraisal Board.
The motion to cast the ballot was made by Tim Bower and seconded by Tim Turner; the minutes record that all members present voted yes and "motion carried." The minutes state, "Union Grove ISD has 202 votes and those will be cast for Roe Ann Logan."
