Board tables insurance renewals, CESA contract and food service for further review
Summary

District Administrator Nancy Popp reviewed a health insurance renewal and a set of options and asked the board whether they wanted to explore lowering the renewal or pursue a bid process; the board chose to table the item until next month for additional examination.
Popp also reported there was no increase for dental and vision coverage and recommended tabling those renewals as well. A proposed CESA 10 2026–27 service contract, food service arrangements and shared agreements (library position and IT services with Loyal) were presented and also tabled to allow further negotiation and clarification.
Board members asked staff to continue discussions with CESA and local administrators and to return with revised options next month so the board can make budget-aware decisions before finalizing the 2026–27 plan.
