District Administrator Mark Stamper reviewed upcoming state mandates—Act 57 and Act 89—and told the board that the Department of Public Instruction will assist with employee training in August. He proposed, and the board agreed to, two work sessions to revise handbooks: July 8 and July 22 at 6:00 p.m.
Stamper also provided enrollment figures the board used to plan summer work: last year the district began with 14 RVA students and ended with 12 after two returned to Flambeau School, and of fifteen 3YK students, thirteen are enrolled for 4YK next year. The board accepted the proposed schedule and did not change the training plan during this session.
