At 6:41 p.m. the board voted to convene in closed session "pursuant to Wis. The motion to enter closed session was made by Lana Nelson and seconded by Kim Dachel and carried by roll call.
The board reconvened in open session at 8:48 p.m. and took action on closed-session items. The board approved a 4% raise for professional staff for the 2026–2027 school year; the motion carried on a roll-call vote recorded as six yes votes with President Ted Alberson marked as abstaining. The board also approved 3% raises for administrative staff, support staff and Fund 80 staff for the 2026–2027 school year; the administrative staff raise carried 7-0, while at least one support- and Fund 80 vote recorded Zenny Mahun as abstaining on an item, with those motions recorded as carried in the minutes.
The minutes record the vote tallies but do not include individual salary dollar amounts or the budgetary source for the raises; district administration was present and will be responsible for implementing the approved adjustments.
