Flambeau Board Re-elects Alberson as President, Confirms Officers and Committee Assignments

The Flambeau School District Board of Education unanimously re-elected Ted Alberson as board president during its April 29 open session, and the board selected Jennifer Heath as vice president, Kim Dachel as clerk and Lana Nelson as treasurer.
"Mr. Alberson stated that all board members are familiar with the responsibilities of the president, vice president, treasurer, and clerk," the minutes record, and the board cast unanimous ballots for the slate of officers. Laura Dutter-Nelson volunteered to serve as the district's CESA 10 delegate for 2026–2027, with Jennifer Heath or Lana Nelson designated as backup delegates.
The board reviewed and finalized committee assignments for the coming year. Personnel committee members were listed as District Administrator Mark Stamper, President Ted Alberson, Vice President Jennifer Heath, Director Zenny Mahun and alternate Director Laura Dutter-Nelson, with Administrative Assistant Julie Hoefs serving as staff support. Finance, Policy, Facility, Community Education and Safety committees were likewise populated with combinations of board members, Stamper and staff liaisons; the board also agreed there was no need to form a Technology Committee at this time.
The board adopted a tentative 2026–2027 meeting calendar, including a re-organizational meeting date. The reorganization and committee confirmations position the board to begin the fiscal year with defined leadership roles and committee responsibilities.
