At its Nov. 17 meeting the Winona ISD Board of Trustees gave special recognition to students and staff across the district. Students of the Month named in the minutes were Elementary: Sakarri Sanders and Kynzleigh Gordon; Middle School: Giselle Garcia and Brandon Ruiz; High School: Qwynnen Davis and Nathan Blas.
The board also named Kailee Frost as High School Teacher of the Month and Elenor Black as Support Staff of the Month. In athletics, Miguel Cedillo was recognized as a Cross Country state qualifier.
