The Winnsboro Independent School District Board of Trustees voted Friday to call a trustee election and a special election, carrying the motion 5–0.
"The meeting was duly called and notice of the meeting has been posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551," President Brandon Green said at the start of the meeting.
