Presidio students showcased culinary and art projects; Consulate announces Feb. exhibition

Presidio High School culinary students and instructor Denise Green demonstrated charcuterie boards and described garden-to-table elements; the board praised student passion and presentation. Staff acknowledged contributions from other classrooms and community partners who made wooden boards and supported the project.
Separately, art teachers described a collaboration in which fourth-grade drawings were turned into three-dimensional ceramics by high school students. Consul Mr. Muf1oz announced that 1,070 drawings were submitted worldwide to the "This Is My Mexico" contest in 2024; 50 winners were chosen, including seven honorable mentions from Presidio Elementary, and a local exhibition is planned Feb. 227 with an inauguration Feb. 2 at 11 a.m.
