Rosemont approves a series of TIF 6 real-estate actions covering Higgins Row, Small Cheval and Big Chicken/Stans
Summary
Trustees approved Ordinances 2024-8-12E, 2024-8-12F and 2024-8-12G authorizing termination of certain restrictions, amendments to a purchase-and-sale agreement, and a real estate purchase for portions of the TIF 6 redevelopment area (Higgins Row, Small Cheval, Big Chicken/Stans).
The board voted unanimously to approve several ordinances affecting the TIF No. 6 Redevelopment Plan and Project Area. Trustee Fazio moved, and Trustee Pappas seconded, Ordinance No. 2024-8-12E authorizing execution of a Termination of Declaration of Restrictions and Grant of Easements and related access and sign easements for a portion of TIF 6 (Higgins Row). The board also approved Ordinance No. 2024-8-12F, a First Amendment to a Real Estate Purchase and Sale Agreement (Small Cheval), and Ordinance No. 2024-8-12G authorizing a Real Estate Purchase and Sale Agreement for a portion of TIF 6 (Big Chicken/Stans).
Each ordinance passed with all trustees voting aye. The actions change easements and real estate transaction terms in the TIF 6 area and were presented as part of municipal development and street/municipal planning committee items.
