The West Oso ISD Board of Trustees approved the campus library purchasing list recommended by the School Library Advisory Council at its Nov. 17 meeting. The item was presented by district staff and the School Library Advisory Council; Trustee Liz Gutierrez moved approval and Trustee Priscilla Vela seconded.
"Ms. Liz Gutierrez made a motion to consider taking action on the Approval of the Campus Library Purchasing List as Recommended by the School Library Advisory Council, seconded by Ms. Priscilla Vela. Motion Carried: 4-0-0," the minutes state. The recorded votes show four affirmative votes among trustees present; one trustee had stepped out during the vote and others were absent or had departed earlier. The board recorded no amendments to the purchasing list during the meeting.
