Elementary, secondary principals report testing, UIL wins and campus events; CMSAF scheduled to visit

Campus leaders briefed the board on recent and upcoming student activities. Randolph Elementary Principal Tracey Bandy said PreK students took a community trip to the HEB bakery, Kindergarten students visited the Army Residence Community, TELPAS testing is complete, and the elementary UIL team "won district by over 400 points and had 23 first place wins." She also noted GT students showcased projects, and fifth graders toured the middle school as they transition to secondary grades.
Randolph Secondary Principal Rachel Trevino reported that Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force David Wolfe will visit campus on April 10, 2026 for JROTC cadets. She said Student to Student (STS) will lead Purple Up Day events for the military child throughout April. Trevino also noted HS UIL activities are upcoming, the MS band excelled at UIL, an HS art student earned a state medal, Spring Fling generated $13,500, and four high school groups will compete at a state match on April 25 at the University of Texas.
Both principals presented these items as informational campus reports; no board-level action was required beyond noting the events.
