Randolph Elementary reports strong performance, $700 robotics grant and playground upgrades

Randolph Elementary Principal Tracey Bandy told the Board that elementary enrollment stands at 635 students and the campus has a 96.3% attendance rate. She said more than 200 students have signed up to compete in Academic UIL and highlighted staff-led professional development after winter break to focus on data review and interventions.
Bandy said Ms. Hayman secured a $700 grant for the robotics club, the playground turf replacement has been completed and the fall fundraiser funded two large shades over the playground area. She also noted upcoming events: 100th-day activities on Feb. 5 and the Sweetheart Turkey Bingo fundraiser on Feb. 12.
