RFISD athletes set records and prepare for regionals; Booster banquet and physical night scheduled

Athletic Director Mr. Todd Olivera briefed the board on recent accomplishments and upcoming athletics dates. He said the boys' 4x100 relay team broke the school record at the area track meet and the girls' track team won the district title for a sixth consecutive year; the boys' team placed third overall.
Mr. Olivera outlined upcoming events: the regional track meet on May 1–2, the Athletic Booster Club banquet on May 7, and athletic physical night on May 12. He also reported that baseball and softball teams are competing for playoff positions and encouraged community support for those events.
