Quinlan ISD reports $39.08M cash balance; posts 100% F.I.R.S.T. rating

At the Nov. 17 meeting Becky Pfeil presented the district's budget and cash-flow figures: revenues were $5,422,962.20, expenditures $3,766,459.71, and the ending cash-flow balance was $39,077,802.64. Taxes collected in October 2025 were reported as $423,033.84.
Pfeil also presented the investment report, stating monthly interest earned for October 2025 was $132,056.00 and budget year-to-date interest earnings were $515,381.00; she reported interest rates of 4.2300% (Texpool) and 4.2700% (Lone Star). During a public meeting item she reported that Quinlan ISD "scored a 100% Superior Achievement financial rating from the Texas Education Agency."
