Assistant Superintendent for Finance Lorrie Remick presented the district's financial snapshot on Jan. 23, reporting “12.8 million in total investments, 10.9 million in the general fund balance. 3.3 million unassigned and 9 million in revenue.” She told trustees the district expects an increase in Impact Aid and that Impact Aid survey forms were sent to parents on Jan. 20, 2026.
Remick characterized the current investment picture as declining amid lower interest rates and did not propose any changes to investment strategy during the meeting. The financial report was entered as part of the consent agenda and no separate vote tally was recorded in the public minutes.
