The Presidio ISD Board voted unanimously to purchase a 14-passenger bus intended for student transportation to athletic and co-curricular events. The 14-passenger size was selected specifically because it does not require drivers to hold a commercial driver's license (CDL), allowing non‑CDL staff to operate for event transport.
Funding for the purchase will be allocated from three budgets: 50% Athletics, 25% Co-Curricular and 25% Transportation. Marco Lujan moved to approve the purchase, and Jeremy Velasquez seconded; the motion carried 6–0. The meeting materials did not include vendor name, model, or purchase price.
