Presidio ISD approves MOU with Aliviane Inc. for vaping and fentanyl awareness presentations

Presidio ISD trustees voted 6–0 to approve a memorandum of understanding with Aliviane Inc. to deliver student and parent presentations on vaping and fentanyl awareness on Oct. 29–30, 2025. The motion was made by Jaime Sanchez and seconded by Jeremy Velasquez.
Meeting materials state the initial sessions will target PHS and MS students with a parent presentation scheduled for the evening of Oct. 29 at the high school. The MOU may fund additional future presentations addressing dating violence, abuse and trafficking. No budget amount or contract number was included in the meeting minutes.
"Aliviane, if approved, is a partner that will be working with the District on different programs including presentations regarding Vaping and Fentanyl use on October 29 - 30, 2025 for PISD HS and MS students," the record states.
