Presidio High School staff told the board on Sept. 24 that overall attendance is running about 96–97%, which they said translates to roughly 11–15 students absent daily. Staff described active PLCs, RTI during first period, and intentional scheduling (late start) privileges for students passing classes.
Administrators noted two fights since school began and three students placed into DAEP; one of those students withdrew from school and the other two later exited DAEP after intervention. Staff emphasized preparation for TELPAS and TSI testing and said CCRM credit is being used in relation to TSI work.
