Superintendent Carmen Rubner updated the board that Exceed GeoEnergy has paid the district's attorney fees (approximately $8,000) and will pay the district $10,000.00 per year for the first three years of the proposed lease. The company is currently soliciting concrete‑pad bids and hopes to begin work during the district winter break if schedules and bids allow.
Rubner said additional timing and start‑date details will be provided as quotes and schedules are finalized; no board action was taken at the Sept. 24 meeting. The board did not discuss lease revenue beyond the first three years at the meeting.
