The Flambeau School District Board approved the retirement of the district bus driver and thanked Mr. Gillis for his years of service. The motion to approve the retirement was made by Laura Dutter-Nelson, seconded by Jennifer Heath, and carried 5-0.
In personnel hires, the board approved Jeff Kopacz as the 2025-2026 high school co-assistant boys’ baseball coach. The motion by Laura Dutter-Nelson, seconded by Jennifer Heath, passed on a roll call vote with all five members voting yes. Separately, the board approved Jeff Zimmer as the district’s groundskeeper on a roll call vote recorded 5-0.
