Chad Gago, the district's 7–12 principal, told the board the Middle/High School finalized a new scheduling process and proposed a stricter cell-phone approach. "In the fourth quarter, we will implement the Bell-to-Bell policy, and phones will no longer be allowed during lunch or passing time," Gago said. The board asked for direction and clarification on the policy's enforcement and timing.
Gago also reported that juniors will take the ACT on March 17 and recognized student scholar-athletes from the Lakeland Conference and WIAA. The phone policy is planned for rollout in the fourth quarter and requires staff guidance for enforcement during student transitions and lunch periods.
