Under the approved language, "A teacher may request an extension to the retirement notification timeline. Such request shall be in writing and be given to the District Administrator on/or before January 1 for Board approval." The motion, made by Ben Mrdutt and seconded by Sharon Formoe, carried with all members voting in favor.
