Board weighs parking changes tied to referendum projects

During the Jan. 7 work session, the Boyceville board reviewed parking as an element of referendum Phase 2 planning. For the elementary campus trustees said placing buses in front of the building would not work as presented and requested CESA 10 to present an alternative solution. They also said the district needs more event parking and will review cost estimates at an upcoming meeting.
At the Middle/High School the board discussed several changes intended to improve safety and circulation: removing back and side parking spots, installing light poles, re-striping spaces, and designating staff parking. Trustees signaled that these options remain under review and cost analysis is pending.
