Chair said he plans to step down by next May and asked the board to identify a volunteer to transition into the vice-presidency. Board members moved to appoint Eric (S2) as vice president to begin shadowing and to assist compiling a written manual of administrative procedures; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
Trustees also scheduled a special October workshop to document Bill Scott's processes related to tax-roll and assessment preparation, aiming to produce written procedures and a calendar for annual tasks. "We thought we better put it off until we had more time," the chair said, describing the October session as a workshop to reduce institutional risk. Staff will notice the meeting and make materials available.
