At the Dec. 15 meeting the Wink-Loving ISD Board of Trustees approved the Nov. 17 meeting minutes, accepted the November local tax collection report showing total collections of $7,265,000.78, and approved financial reports and bills payable; the minutes show bills for November totaled $300,025.04.
Trustee Melissa Halterman moved to dispense with the reading of the Nov. 17 minutes and to accept them as printed; Trustee Carrie Purcell seconded and the board approved the motion unanimously. Sarah Wilkinson presented the tax collection report for November. Trustee Halterman moved to approve the report; Trustee Dewberry seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
The board also moved to approve a representative for the Winkler-Loving County Livestock Show (Jan. 11'16, sale Jan. 17, 2026). Trustee Halterman moved to appoint Trustee Raymond Dodd as the WLISD representative; Trustee Purcell seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
These consent and routine financial items were grouped on the preliminary/consent agenda and approved without dissent.
