Sandra Riojas, Data Management & Assessment Director, explained the submission was "just an extension of the application already submitted for the Pathways Institute," noting that part of the request was not included in the original application because the material was not yet available. Trustees asked no questions and voted to approve the proposal by motion of Board President Claudia Coronado, seconded by Juan Viveros.
The approval allows the Pathways Institute to operate the Optional Flexible School Day model for the 2025—26 year under the conditions set forth in the district's application; the minutes do not include operational details such as participant counts or performance targets.
