The Randolph Field Independent School District Board of Trustees voted Dec. 18 to approve the district's Annual School Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) rating and to open a public hearing on the rating.
Board President Jimmy Cornelius moved to consider the School FIRST rating and open a public hearing. After presentation of the rating report, the board approved the rating and authorized the public hearing matter by unanimous 4-0 vote. The minutes record no public comments during the meeting.
The School FIRST rating is a state accountability tool for district financial integrity; the board's acceptance begins any required public-review steps and posting of rating documentation.
