CFO Lorrie Remick presented the district’s financial position, reporting a $12 million fund balance against a $26 million total budget for FY2026. She said the district received a $1.8 million payment from the state and has spent about $6 million on start-up expenses to date.
Remick also explained Budget Amendment No. 2 for FY2026, which reclassifies compensation for a staff member who is no longer doing administration into a more appropriate payroll line and provides funds to cover the Apple maintenance contract for district iPads. Trustees had no questions on the minutes or the consent items during review of the consent agenda.
