Trustees decline reorganization after new member sworn in

At the Sept. 25 Randolph Field ISD board meeting, David Megeath was sworn in and the board voted to keep existing officers in place after declining reorganization under BDAA(LEGAL) and TEC 11.062(c).
David Megeath took the oath of office Sept. 25, joining the Randolph Field ISD Board of Trustees as the board’s newest member. President Jimmy Cornelius administered the swearing-in during the meeting called to order at 4:34 p.m.
After the swearing-in the board addressed reorganization under policy BDAA(LEGAL) and Texas Education Code 11.062(c). Cornelius asked whether any trustee wished to reorganize officers; all trustees declined, leaving the current officers — President Jimmy Cornelius, Vice-President Peter Duffy, and Secretary Vanessa Bowden — in place. The action required no formal vote beyond the declination of reorganization.
