The board authorized the use of the Design-Build procurement method and approved issuance of a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for a Career and Technical Education (CTE) wing addition at Quinlan Ford High School. Superintendent Jeff Irvin introduced a Design-Build representative before trustees approved the request by unanimous vote after a motion from Rusty Case and second from Dale Chreene.
The authorization allows staff to move forward with solicitation of Design-Build teams; subsequent steps will include RFQ issuance, evaluation of respondents, and future board action on selection and contract award.
