Attorney Bayer read Ordinance 01‑2026 by title, which would accept dedication of Fort Monmouth roadways (Nicodemus Avenue, Wilson Avenue, Tiros Avenue and Vanguard Avenue) to the borough following FMERA improvements. The ordinance recites prior MOUs, ARH engineering review and the borough engineer's determination that work was done in substantial conformance with approved plans.
Councilmember Meir Araman moved to introduce the ordinance and Councilmember Carl Lawson seconded. The motion passed on a roll-call vote with all present councilmembers voting AYE; absent: Councilmember Danielle M. Jones. A public hearing and final adoption is scheduled for the council’s Jan. 28 meeting.
