The Robinson Independent School District Board of Trustees elected new leadership at its Dec. 1 meeting, selecting Justin Wiese as board president, Kacey Darnell as vice president and Alicia Williams as board secretary. Each officer was nominated and confirmed in motions that carried by unanimous 7–0 votes.
Keith Helpert nominated Justin Wiese for president, seconded by Scott Everett. Kacey Darnell was nominated for vice president by Alicia Williams and confirmed 7–0; Alicia Williams was then nominated and confirmed as board secretary. The votes included Kacey Darnell, Scott Everett, Jason Hahn, Keith Helpert, Jabo Rubin, Justin Wiese and Alicia Williams voting yes. The changes follow the administration of oaths earlier in the meeting to Jason Hahn (Place 3) and Scott Everett (Place 4), administered by Stacey Proctor.
