Trustees renew contracts for two principals and athletic director
Summary
Following executive session, the Riviera ISD board approved Superintendent recommendations to renew Secondary Principal Amber White and Athletic Director/Head Football Coach Jay Aleman with two‑year contracts and to renew Elementary Principal Tot Albro on a one‑year probationary contract.
After returning from executive session, the board voted on contract renewals recommended by the superintendent.
Trustees accepted the superintendent's recommendation to renew Secondary Principal Amber White with a two‑year term contract covering the 2026–27 and 2027–28 school years. The board also approved a two‑year renewal for Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Jay Aleman for the same contract years. Finally, the board approved a one‑year probationary contract renewal for Elementary Principal Tot Albro for the 2026–27 school year. Each recommendation was moved, seconded and approved with votes recorded in open session.
All three approvals were presented as superintendent recommendations discussed during executive session under personnel provisions of the Texas Open Meetings Act, and the board recorded the motions and votes in open session.
